  1. Why doesn't my serial number work?

    Here are several reasons why a serial number won't work:

    1. You didn't give us the exact Pocket PC Owner Name.
    2. You gave us the device name or Active Sync name instead of the PPC Owner Name.
    3. There is a space preceding or trailing your name. To fix remove the spaces before and/or after your name.
    4. You gave us the right name but the wrong capitalization.


  2. My serial number doesn't work! Now what?

    Please send us the owner name from the Pocket PC and we will re-generate the serial number for you. To get the owner name:

    1. Click on the Start button.
    2. Click on Settings.
    3. Click on Owner Information.
    4. Email us the text in the Name field (please note that it is case sensitive).

    *NOTE* Please make sure that there isn't a space at the end of the Owner Name. The Pocket PCs tend to add a space at the end of words.

    a) The text encircled by the red is the Owner Name that we require for your serial number. In this case "John Doe".


    b) If your owner name doesn't appear on your today screen, then tap start and then tap on settings. Under settings you will see this screen. Tap on the Owner Information icon and continue to the next screen.


    c) Once in the owner information screen, the text encircled by the red is the Owner Name that we require for your serial number. In this case "John Doe".



    Once we have your owner's name, we'll email you back your new serial number.


  3. I only got a registration number?

    Many of our distributors provide a registration number instead of a serial number. The registration number is the same as the serial number. If it doesn't work then there is a problem with your serial number and you'll need to contact support@atechware.com for more information.
